Types of shows

Here are the most common shows I perform:

  • My deluxe magic show is definitely the most popular show and it is about 40 to 45 minutes of non-stop, fun filled entertainment for the entire family. It is filled with comedy bits and audience participation and is tailored to your special event. If this is a birthday party, your child becomes the star when I perform a special trick for the birthday child and they assist me in all the major effects. The birthday child, their siblings and friends get to help the magician out when I invite them as volunteers for various magic effects. The entire audience is involved and particpates throughout the show. This show is great for family audiences as kids and adults both love this show. You will be amazed to see kids of all ages watch the entire show without making any fuss.

  • My illusion magic show is the one you want when you want a longer show and have a bit more space. It lasts 60 minutes and is suitable mainly when there are both kids and adults watching and there is a central stage like area. Large living rooms or garages are OK also. It has all the elements of the deluxe magic show above and is filled with comedy bits and audience participation. Your child becomes the star when I perform a special trick for the birthday child. The birthday child, their siblings and friends will assist me in all the major effects. The highlight of the show is an illusion where one of the children from the audience appears to be suspended - this is a fantastic picture opportunity.

  • Both shows can be followed by creative balloon twisting where each child at the party gets a balloon figure to take home. These are figures like sword, dog, rabbit, giraffe, flower, hat, sword, monkey, etc. The time it takes for the balloons depends on how many children are at the party. 90% of the parties I do want this activity since the kids just love getting their own hand made balloon.

  • I can also do Close Up or walk around magic for more intimate settings like Holiday parties, Business events, Banquets, Weddings, events, etc. I performed at the opening of a Mercedez Benz car dealership in San Jose. Here people experience magic right under their noses and this is usually a big hit.

    • Call me today for a free consultation and a quote for your party. It is easy for me to customize the show to meet your needs - this is what I do 90% of the time. The rates depend a bit on how many kids are at the party and also on the exact nature of the show. I have made countless young children smile over the years and it gives me great pleasure to perform magic. I guarantee your guests will have a good time and you will get a lot more than your money's worth.

    I bring my own tables and equipment. I can also bring small or large PA (audio) system for larger venues.

    I have performed professional magic shows for the last 20 years in the Northern California Bay area near San Jose, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Fremont, etc. I have performed in venues ranging from stage shows, banquet halls, restaurants, private homes and outdoor parks. I also perform magic in the various cities I travel on business. I had the pleasure of performing for a group of magicians in Sydney, Bombay and Bangalore. I have been a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) for over 20 years and have also been part of the Society of American Magicians (SAM). Though this is not my full time job, I do shows regularly every month.

    You may have seen my show at Memorial Park in Cupertino where I performed for several years at the annual Diwali festival. I also performed at the San Leandro Heritage Fair and the San Jose public library.
